The Prophet (saw) asked: Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah erases sins and raises you in status? They (the Companions) replied: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He (saw) said: Doing ablution (wudhu) well even when it is difficult, taking many steps to the Mosque and waiting for the (next) prayer after the (last) prayer. This is equivalent to guarding/defending the frontiers (of Islam). (Muslim)
